happy and crappy xiv

i've kinda neglected the blog this weekend...my apologies. friday night i went with a group to see the gym dogs...we lost, which was disappointing, but it was fun! just hung out in my dorm with colette until about midnight, when anna came over to spend the night. kinda like a sleepover in the good old days...except there wasn't too much chit chat. oh well. i've been spending the rest my weekend doing nothing but drawing. started at 11 am saturday morning, drew for three and a half hours in charcoal. oh, it was looking great! but alas, i find out that it was supposed to be done in graphite. crappit crappit crappit. so, i started my 6-8 hour drawing over again...in graphite pencils. got worn out after eight hours of trying to draw in dim lighting, so i took a break and watched dodgeball. i'm not really a fan of ben stiller...and my opinion hasn't changed. so thats really about it. i'm almost done with my drawing (oh, its of paper, btw), then on to my rough draft, then studying for geology, and getting laundry and cleaning done. yessss. sounds like a wonderful way to spend the weekend. okay, onto the happy and crappy:

this week's happy...yay for:

• a's on english papers
• not having any tests
• or quizzes
• getting a job offer
• finally ordering ink
• awesome frisbee games
• getting to go on the geology field trip ( trip = 5 points added to final average...oh yea)
• gym dogs
• packages in the mail!
• listening to music while doing homework
• the format

this week's crappy...nay for:

• not getting the expected grade on poli sci
• using the wrong medium for 3.5 hours
• the price of printer ink
• not knowing what i'm doing for spring break
• more papers to write
• having a major geology quiz and midterm in the same week (is that legal??)
• history of the built environment quiz
