like the rest of the nation right now, i'm attempting to get more hours in my work week. right now, i'm only getting less than 20 hours a week. i've been continuously searching for more job opportunities in the design field, but everyone i've interviewed with has told me they just don't have the positions right now. what a great time in the economy to graduate from school.
well, a couple weeks ago i sent my resume in to havertys. they're hiring right now and i figured if i can get a part-time job at least to supplement the hours i'm not getting where i work now, i'd be doing alright. well, they had scheduled an interview with me for this past friday. i had planned the whole day around the thing...of course to get a call an hour beforehand to postpone it to next thursday. postponed interviews seem to be the story of my life.
so the interview is this thursday at 5:30 pm. fingers crossed, this will be something i can do and more importantly, make money at doing.
