six weeks 'til the next home game...

and thanksgiving! whoo hoo! its rather sad that all of our games were at the beginning of the season. we're rooting for the gamecocks to pull off a win over the stupid vols so that we can get into the sec championship...our hopes are dim. we secured the given win over vandy today...33-3. too bad it wasn't a shut out. i regret to inform you that i don't have any pictures from today. the enthsiasm was absent today at the game, but it wasn't hot, for once. i got toasted a little. perhaps my last burn of 2004. we'll see. anyway, the next and last home game is against tech right after thanksgiving. becca will finally be here...she can't miss that one. i believe i'm going to gainsville for the georgia-florida game. it should be fun! i'm thinking i might go to the auburn game, too, even though i don't have a ticket. i could see some of the people i know from high school and church. we're making plans to maybe even stop by callaway gardens on the way...i'm hoping the festival of lights thing is going on by that time.

parent weekend is this weekend so theres a lot of alumni and parents wandering around. of course, christina's parents (bryan/b.o.'s girlfriend) were there as usual for the tailgate, but ben's parents came up and luke's did, too. where were my parents? they'll pass for any kind of functions like that.

farm night was interesting last night. we just chilled out. had some hot chocolate, s'mores, chilie, tossed the frisbee around, played a little bit of baggo. we went to caroline's apartment after that and watched return to me. it was pretty good, but i just didn't understand the drama of it...they made a big deal out of something that wasn't really that bad. megan went home this weekend, so i spent the night alone in my dorm last night. tear. i'll have to do it again tonight. another tear. well, in this free time i have between hanging out with friends, i should prolly get some laundry and homework done.
