the long haul...

okay okay. i'm a bum and havn't posted in awhile. i know those of you who check my blog religiously (haha) were very worried about me. anyway, i've been quite busy trying to get things done.

thursday was ruf girls' night...anna, colette, and i went downtown to grab an expensive bite to eat at the pita pit. actually, it took us quite some time to find something that fancied our appetites. we made a quick trip to cillie's, a cheapie clothing shop downtown where i bought a bright red nike sweater hoodie thingie for $7...gotta love the deals. we watched mean girls...which i do have to say that i hated even more the second time. i don't understand why people like it so much...its so raunchy. what are we doing watching it at a ruf get together, anyway? the get together was at a bunch of upperclassmen's house...and it was adorable! eventually when we get cars, anna and colette wanna get a house together. yea...i don't think i'll be getting a car anytime soon.

i played two and a half hours of ultimate on friday afternoon. straight. yes. i think i only had four sips of water the entire time...but it was a blast. man, i feel so outta shape, although i'm prolly not as bad as i think i am. after that i went bouldering (that would be a fancy name for rock climbing) even though i didn't even try to climb, really. too exhausted from ultimate still. we had a late dinner, went to a ruf girl's 21st birthday party...which entertained us for the first part of the night. we headed back to my place at 1:30 am and baked some cookies for the guys. they brought their lazy boy chairs, couch, hammock, tv, x box, and stereo down to the tailgating spot behind myers and camped out for the night. we got to watch zoolander (another wonderful flick...for some people lol) and colette and i went to my room around 4:15 to sleep.

i'll summarize the game...yellow flag on georgia, another flag on georgia, another flag on georgia, another flag on georgia, yet again, another flag on georgia, and another....it just didn't end. oh...i forgot, flag on tennessee...nevermind. all in all, the refs basically gave them the game and killed any momentum we got going with, what else, another flag. crap. well, its gonna be a lot harder to get to nationals now...go dawgs.

my ears were pulsing after the game...so i went to bed at 8:30...no, that wasn't a typo. what college student goes to bed at 8:30?? hey, i was tired. 12 and a half wonderful hours of sleep.
