TGIF

believe it or not, i was able to finish my in-class essay today. thats not to say that i did an incredible job on it...its just saying that i was able to puke out an introduction, body, and closing paragraph in a total of 2 hours and 30 minutes. i hate in-class essays, darn it. anyway, my papers before that one have been pretty decent, and now i have to get started on my next one, which is due in two weeks.

this week was actually quite wonderful, despite coming back from an awesome trip to florida. the election definitely made this week worthwhile. i am quite happy about the outcome :). chem lab didn't cause too much chaos for me, i've been getting back in shape by running...i actually made it to ramsey yesterday! yay! okay, at the beginning of the school year i was able to row 2000 meters in ten minutes or less. i tried to do it yesterday at the same pace and only made it 1000 meters in about 5 and a half minutes and was exhausted afterwards. ack. sad day for me. so i'm working on it. got to go to ruf...we didn't have it last week due to fall break. i finished signing up for classes, which is always a plus. the regent's essay wasn't too bad either...i didn't write a quality paper, though. oh well. its pretty much "write a paragraph that answers the question" kinda thing anyway.

BECCA! shes coming to see me this weekend. i bet you can't tell how excited i am. she hasn't been up here to visit me yet...well, okay becca, you did come up for the retreat, but you were only here for about ten minutes...it only counts about as much as your tongue touching your nose does. haha! anyway, we're gonna have lots of fun. i get to take her around campus and sneak her into the dining halls and ramsey because...well, because i can...cuz we look exactly alike. bonus for us! too bad ben and bryan won't get to meet her...they're going sailing on luke's boat this weekend...in some sort of crazy race and what not. i think we're planning on going to see the incredible this weekend...i love pixtar!!

i'm playing on the all-star ultimate frisbee team today...yay! i haven't gotten to play in any of the all-star things this week, but at least i'll be able to make it to the game. then i'm heading straight to the intramural fields for some ultimate with ruf. afterwards, cleaning frenzy in my dorm cuz its a mess and messy is no good when you're trying to show it off. becca will get here around 9ish and the weekend will begin!
