the near death of one of the rescue ranger duo

you know the dynamic duo on saturday morning cartoons back in the day? chip tried to commit suicide today. i was walking back from english, worried about avoiding puddles formed from the morning rainstorms. my mind was on what i needed to throw together for my trip to auburn this weekend: chem book to study, pjs, pillow, red and black clothes, towel, window paint, laptop...chipmunk! i nearly stepped on him when he darted out of the small tufty grass plants they have planted along the iron fence on lumpkin. i swear he ran into my left boot. a near tragedy for children seven and under everywhere.

anyway, i've finally decided to go to auburn. no, don't have a ticket, but it might be fun to hang out. anyone wanna cough up $150 so i can get into the game? any takers? no? we'll see if the trip is worth it. i know it will be if we win!! oh yea...i'm feeling it, too. so we were supposed to have left about 3 minutes ago...but it think we're a little off our departure time. nothing new. anyway, heading to LaGrange for the night, where jo lives. it will definately be cheaper than the florida game...don't have to pay for a hotel...heck, don't even have to pay for a ticket for that matter. we'll have to find a local place to tailgate and then watch the game. i believe we're heading back sunday morning....with enough time remaining in the day to get some major studying in. actually, prolly not studying, but chem lab proposal write ups. wonderful. something to look foreward to.

i called up the 'rents to let them know the dealio on the weekend...turns out they're in new jersey all of a sudden visiting g-pops. that'd be my grandpa. i guess they can do that now...just up and go whenever they feel like it. who knows...next time i call they may be in the carribbean, or worse, australia. oooo. that would be so unfair. anyway, as usual, the comment was "don't pick any fights" and "be safe". you know me...i'll get into a brawl over the outcome of the game ;) lol.

i went in and talked to my chem prof. yes its true. there will be no curve on the tests to make up for my poor performances. crappit. the good news is that he keeps finding errors on the tests, which in return makes my grade go up :). yay. so i actually will have close to a 90 on my first test, and close to an 80 on my last test with the corrections. could be good as long as i do well on this next one. and the final. ahhhrg. in a cold sweat. okay...just breathe. i'll make it through.

well, i'm outta here for my second away game. let's hope its a good weekend!
