its so close, i can taste it...

the burgers that is.

its almost game day.

tomorrow marks the start of the georgia football season. i'm not obsessed with football or anything...only in the fall. somehow between not knowing anything about football in high school and kickoff of last year's game, i've become a dedicated bulldog fan. six home games. i'm stoked. i didn't get any away game tickets, which is upsetting considering i was spoiled my freshman year and got to witness the bulldogs finally beating uf for the first time in many moons. it was beautiful.

since my room is practically inside sanford stadium, i have no doubt that the insane fans will be right outside my window, flipping burgers and tossing footballs in their red and black attire at 5 am. the game doesn't even start until 5:30 pm (which i'm a fan of, since it so darn hot out). but i'll prolly just go down and join them. after all, when the bulldog nation tailgates, theres plenty of free food to be had.

so, in short, football is what this weekend is about. we'll be starting it off with boise state. as for today, i'm doing my typical routine of ultimate frisbee this afternoon, and then tonight i'm celebrating lola's 19th birthday. happy birthday to her!
