leather bound books

libraries just have way too many books.

yet people keep churning them out. seriously. how many books do we need to say the same thing? it just leaves us poor college students with too many options to choose from. then theres that daunting task to search for some obscure call number on the binding of some random book on the thrid floor in the very back corner on the bottom shelf. its like some kind of sick scavenger hunt. then once you find that book, it has useless information like a list of bibliographies of all articles ever produced on, say egypt, in the entire year of 1988. what good does that do me? all i want is some critic's thoughts and feelings about a work of art.

thats exactly why this was my first trip to the library in about six years. aisles and aisles of books with lots of big words just scare me. if it were up to me, i would never step foot in one. but an art history research paper has forced my footsteps to echo on the marble floors of uga's prison of leather bound books...amongst others. i hate research papers.
