this week's happy...yay for:
- alias, season three marathons
- working and making some moolah
- christmas (well, season) in PARIS
- getting first class there and back
- having an ipod to keep yourslef entertained while travelling
- being able to find our way to the hotel on the metro sans les parents
- the view of a city from hundreds of feet above
- not needing to light candles in cathedrals for God to hear my prayers
- finally seeing the eiffel tower with my own eyes
- gorgeous churches with stain glass windows and incredible mosaics
- nice parisians
- british people who think the eiffel tower was built for the french revolution (fyi, built for the 1900 world's fair)
- chocolat crêpes
- utiliser mon français un peu, mais les parisiens ne veulent pas me parler avec leur lange
- walking down the champs elysees and singing the song...
- seeing the eiffel tower go off every hour with those sparkling lights
- people who get proposed to on top of the eiffel tower...really just more of the "proposed to part"
- the random sights you wander into
- barely catching the flight home in time
- new year's in chattanooga
- seeing ruf buddies again
- really nice families
- the mountains
- 2004, and looking forward to 2005
this week's crappy...nay for:
- being really really cold
- rude french restraurant owners
- french waiters that reek of b.o. (no, for real)
- standing in lines
- being tired when trying to see the city of paris in two days
- being wet and cold
- getting on the wrong train and not being able to do a thing about it because its on a one way loop
- the confusing paris airport where all the employees are pointing you the wrong way
- missing the flight to chattanooga by 2 minutes
- having to sit in the airport for four more as a result
- not being able to play ultimate with the ruf crowd
